A Few Thoughts From Me
July always feels like a fresh chapter. After celebrating my birthday, my youngest daughter’s birthday, and Dennis and I reaching 18 years together, I’m feeling especially grateful. The older I get, the more I realize that home isn’t just a place—it’s where life’s biggest moments happen. This season has also been filled with exciting milestones, including watching my oldest daughter begin her journey at Florida Atlantic University. As a mom, it’s bittersweet. As a Realtor, it reminds me every day why what I do matters.
Speaking of home…
You’ve probably heard mixed messages about the real estate market. Nationally, we’re seeing a shift toward a more balanced market. Buyers have more inventory to choose from, interest rates remain higher than we’d all like, and homes that are thoughtfully priced and beautifully presented are still selling. The frenzy may have settled, but the opportunities certainly haven’t.
Here in Palm Beach County, the market continues to outperform much of the country. Home sales have increased for nine consecutive months, with sales up 7.3% over last year. The median price for a single-family home has climbed to $675,000, proving that demand for quality homes remains strong.
Just to our north, Martin County continues to offer incredible value and lifestyle. Buyers are taking advantage of increased inventory and a more balanced negotiating environment, while well-prepared homes continue to attract serious buyers. It’s no longer about simply putting a sign in the yard—it’s about strategy, presentation, pricing, and knowing how to tell your home’s story.
One thing I’ve learned after helping families buy and sell across Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast is that real estate is local. Headlines only tell part of the story. What matters most is what’s happening in your neighborhood, on your street, and with homes like yours.

Sometimes that's enough.
Easy Red, White, and Blue Trifle
Fresh fruit, yogurt, and berry syrup are layered in a clear bowl for a beautiful presentation.
Layer in as much fruit as your bowl will hold, for a refreshing and easy summer dessert.
INGREDIENTS
1 angel food cake, cut into bite-sized pieces
32 oz sweetened vanilla yogurt
1 pint strawberries, sliced
¾ cup strawberry preserves + 1–2 tbsp water
2 cups blueberries
¾ cup blueberry preserves
Extra strawberries and blueberries for garnish (optional)
METHOD
- Layer angel food cake and vanilla yogurt in a trifle dish.
- Add sliced strawberries and drizzle with warmed strawberry preserves mixed with a little water.
- Repeat with another layer of cake and yogurt, then add blueberries and drizzle with warmed blueberry preserves.
- Continue layering cake, yogurt, berries, and syrups until the dish is full.
- Finish with a layer of yogurt, garnish with fresh berries, and drizzle with any remaining syrup.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
